Agricultural Workers and Members of UAWK Meet

Agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea held a meeting at the Chonsam Co-op Farm in Anbyon County, Kangwon Province on October 7 to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Kim Jong Il's election as General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and 73rd birthday of the WPK.

Ryo Hye Jong, vice-chairperson of the UAWK Central Committee, made a report followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that Kim Jong Il's election to the top post of the WPK is a historic event as it serves as a turning point in developing the Party into one of the leader and ever-victorious iron-willed one guiding the era of Juche.

They noted that all the agricultural workers and members of the union should hold Kim Jong Il in the highest esteem as the eternal leader of the WPK and take his idea and exploits of building the Party as the sure guideline and all-powerful treasure sword.

They underscored the need to dynamically struggle for the development of the Party and a final victory with the single-minded unity and might of self-reliance and self-development, closely rallied behind Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
