DPRK-China Negotiation Held

Choe Son Hui, deputy minister of Foreign Affairs, who is heading a delegation of the DPRK Foreign Ministry on a visit to China, had a DPRK-China negotiation in Beijing on October 5 with Kong Xuanyou, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of China and concurrently special envoy of the Chinese government for the affairs of the Korean Peninsula.

At the negotiation, both sides expressed the will to strive to develop the DPRK-China relations with long history and traditions into a higher stage, true to the intention of the leaders of the two countries, and had an in-depth exchange of views on international issues of mutual concern, including the present situation in the Korean peninsula which is positively developing thanks to the proactive efforts of the DPRK.

Both sides agreed to further strengthen the communication and cooperation between the two countries.
